P.E.D.A.L for Kids is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is organized under the Nonprofit
Public Benefit Corporation Law for charitable purposes.
Our mission is to encourage and support children, to help them excel in life by increasing their
Participation, Education, Development, Achievement and Leadership within their homes and in their
communities. The contributions from Avenue of the Oaks fun ride and all charitable donations give these
children a chance to create a better life and grow strong and healthy both physically and emotionally.
Online Fund-Raising
Once you register for the event at Active.com, you will be provided your own fundraising account,
webpage, and link, which allows folks to donate to your fundraising account ONLINE! Customize your
webpage with photos, training updates, and information about yourself, your team, and your fundraising
goals. Send your fundraising page link to your friends, family, and co-workers so they can easily donate
to your mission. How simple is that?!
Fund-Raising Awards Program
Avenue of the Oaks participants receive awards based on the amount of money they raise.
Although we realize that most participants are raising money for important causes, we also like to ensure
that participants are rewarded for their effort. We understand and greatly appreciate the time and effort
a fund-raising project like this can take. We thank you for all of your support and hope that you feel a
sense of pride in knowing that you are a vital part of helping these noteworthy charities, whether you ride
or not.
The following donations count towards fund-raising awards:

Offline donations
Corporate matches
That means all the fund-raising you do, whether it’s gathering online donations to your account,
collecting checks from your coworkers, or getting pledges from your neighbors, or corporate matches - it
